A Tribute to those we have lost

In recent years we’ve lost several racing teammates. Their commitment, friendship, and love of rowing touched us all.

To honor their memory, we would like to create something meaningful that reflects their contributions to the club. We propose purchasing a new set of racing oars, each one dedicated to one of our departed members. One side of the blade will be etched with their name, and the other a short phrase that captures their personality (chosen/approved by the family). These oars will serve as a lasting tribute and a reminder of their spirit every time we are out on the water.

Costing approximately $10,000, this project is to be funded through voluntary donations from club members, family, and friends of those we have lost. Any contribution, large or small, will help us bring this tribute to life.
