We recommend bringing a pair of gloves, like biking or weightlifting gloves, if you have them.

Yes! We participate in two racing seasons per year; in Fall and Spring. We have several racing teams and many opportunities to race if you are interested. More information about Bay Area whaleboat racing can be found on the BAWRA website.
Club dues are $20 per month, or $220 per year. Financial aide is available if needed.
If you decide to join the club after your 4 free rows, you can pay club dues on the Pay Your Dues Page with a credit card, or mail a check to our PO Box.
Monomoy whaleboats are large row boats that accommodate 8 rowers. They are 26 to 28 feet long. They are exceptionally stable and safe boats.
